Dr. Miller moved to Kentucky in 1985 after completing a residency in family medicine at Hinsdale Hospital outside of Chicago. His first project in Kentucky was to open a birthing center at Fort Logan Hospital. His guidance and innovative ideas have helped shape much of the Birthing Spa’s current design, practices, and philosophies at Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital. Providing prenatal care and birth and caring for newborns and children are his favorite parts of practice. Participating in the birth of a newborn still brings joy after over 30 years of delivering.
He lives with his wife, Andrea, on a small farm where the joy of birth continues with baby calves. They’ve been married for over 38 years. They have raised three children and are currently enjoying two new grandchildren. He enjoys studying the Bible and teaching it to others. He was born and raised in Minnesota and enjoys the snow.
