Michelle Martin, PA-C, graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Allied Health with a degree in Clinical Lab Sciences with a goal of entering the Physician Assistant Program in the future. As a child, Michelle always told her parents she wanted ‘to make sick people better.’ After performing medical testing at the University Hematology and Microbiology labs, she applied and was accepted into the UK Physician Assistant Studies Program. Michelle graduated in early 2001 with honors, including receiving the Mary C. Vittetoe Award for Excellence in Service to the Community. The National Commission accredited her with the Certification of Physician Assistants and began working as a PA in the Berea Hospital Emergency Room.
After marrying her husband, Jonathan, she began working at the office of doctors Miller and Sims in 2001. Michelle’s passion is developing long-term relationships with her patients and working for compassionate and supportive physicians. Michelle sees a wide variety of patients, from newborn babies, Acute sick patients, and Chronic Care. Michelle is married to her husband, Jonathan, and has two children. She enjoys church, travel, spending time with family, and sporting events with her children. If you are looking for a medical practice where you are treated with compassion, listened to, and guided along to your best health, where every effort is made to maintain exemplary care, then look no further. Michelle works with our team daily, and all strive to provide that type of care to our patients.
