Jamie Atwood is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. Jamie graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a BSN and attended the University of Southwestern Medical School in 2003, where she received her Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner degree. Jamie also attended Frontier University, receiving her MSN in Midwifery as a Certified Nurse Midwife in 2010. Jamie joined the practice of Bates, Miller, and Sims in 2006 and has also served as an officer in the US Navy.
Jamie lives in Lincoln County with her husband, Monty Atwood. They have four children and four grandchildren. Jamie enjoys fishing, hiking, being outdoors, and caring for women throughout their life span, including pregnancy and Gynecology needs.
