Ashley Dollins Price, MSPAS, PA-C resides in Liberty and works at the Bluegrass Clinic in Liberty as well as part-time in the Emergency Dept at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. She completed her degree from the University of Kentucky Physicians Assistant Program in 2014 and began working at Bluegrass Clinic upon graduation in family medicine and hospital care and later expanded to Emergency Medicine in 2016.
Ashley was raised locally in Cartersville, prior to establishing her home in Liberty. She is married to Keith Price and together they have a son, Jamison, and twin boys, Jackson and Grayson. A former collegiate athlete at EKU, Ashley enjoys competitive sports and strength training.
However, she enjoys her family on their farm in Casey County and being a boy mom the most. Her beloved mother, Paula, was her biggest inspiration in entering the medical field. “My love and care for people in our rural community come from my mother who was an RN that provided care to neighbors, family, and friends in an underserved area. I have been given so many opportunities throughout my lifetime and medicine is my way of giving back to my community. My favorite thing about working in the clinic is my patient population, I never know what will present but am fortunate to care for so many people who trust me with their healthcare needs.”
She enjoys working part-time in the ER and can be seen there on a regular basis with several shifts a month. “I love the relationships that I have built with my primary care patients, but enjoy the pace of the ER that allows me to keep my skills and life-saving proficiencies sharp with the ability to provide care to patients and families on what may be the worst day of their life.” In 2021, Ashley was voted Best Medical Provider of the year in Casey County. She serves as a mentor to NP/PA school applicants as well as a preceptor to those already enrolled in the programs. She also volunteers in her community and actively engages with youth athletics in Casey County.
